Maison Marasco

Maison Marasco is a sustainable and tasteful holiday home with a beautiful view in the middle of the Vaucluse, the sunny and lovely department of Provence. That part of the Vaucluse is higher and mountainous, which, with the additional effect of the Mistral wind, has a dampening effect on the temperature during hot summers. 

You can relax by the pool and enjoy the unobstructed view of Mont Ventoux, read a book in the shade of one of the old cherry trees or dine with family and friends on the terrace.

Rest, contemplating life, or exercising and sweating: all possible. The hilly area is known for its beautiful cycling and walking tours. Everywhere you will find the small villages with local products: herbs, wine and lots of fruit and vegetables. And everywhere those colors and that light that Provence is known for!

Superfast internet via fiber optic is included. The house is cooled or heated CO2-free with a heat exchanger and solar panels and is painted bio-friendly. Even fully climate-conscious travel is possible: Marasco can be reached by public transport (TGV and bus) or by electric car (charging station available, request in advance, flat rate per week). There is a TV screen (without TV channels) for guests to log into their own accounts if they wish. 

The pool is 1.4m deep and has no closed gate: notethat the house is only suitable for adults and children who can swim. We have applied salt electrolysis instead of added chlorine, without artificial heating. In early spring or late autumn, the pool can therefore be a bit cold. The pool is opened depending on the weather, and can be used from about the first half of April to mid-October. There is an electrically operated roller shutter or a pool alarm.

Larger cities such as Avignon and Marseille, or the Mediterranean coast are easily accessible within half an hour to a few hours.

Maison Marasco is located 1041km from the Belgian/Dutch border. This is easy to drive within a day via the motorways, or by plane to Marseille/Provence. Marasco is also accessible by public transport (TGV and bus).

Beautiful house in a beautiful setting. Ideal as a base for the Mt Ventoux, Gorges de la Nesque,... by road bike, for mountain biking in the immediate vicinity and hiking on the plateau of the Vaucluse. And in the evening relax on the terrace by the pool. Top place !!

Beautiful modern house in a very picturesque landscape! Perfect for relaxing or walking through the cute French villages around. If you are into hiking you can walk a nice path up to the top of Mont Ventoux, which is right next to the house. Happy to come back again :)

This is a great place to relax if you're looking for a picturesque setting. The house has a modern but cosy design. The kitchen has an overview of the Mont Ventoux, so making breakfast and coffee was enchanting. There are lots of small beautiful towns around to visit.

Great place! Beautiful, new house with great facilities and a very nice pool. Friendly hosts. Beautiful scenery all around, with stunning views of Mont Ventoux from the living room and kitchen. The location is perfect for activities in the area such as cycling, hiking, sightseeing and wine tasting. We also liked the owners' efforts for sustainability, such as the chargers for electric cars.
