Our house is located 1 km from the lively village of Vidauban, in the beautiful surroundings of Provence with its wonderful climate. The village has many facilities such as English-speaking medics and shops. The house has a view of a beautiful green hill/mountain. Several picturesque Provencal villages such as Lorgues, Flayosc, Salernes, Tourtour and Cotignac are in the vicinity. Larger cities such as Antibes, Nice, Cannes and Monaco are 1 hour away and even Italy is not far away.
Every day flea-market, antique and provencal markets nearby.
Airports of Nice, Marseille and Toulon are a 1-hour drive from our house.
The Mediterranean beaches of St. Tropez, St. Maxime, Fréjus/St. Raphaël are 30/ 40 km from the house.
The Gorges du Verdon (Grand Canyon of France) and Lac St. Croix at 65 km are highly recommended to go to.

We have looked around a lot in the South of France to find a nice (and newer) house in a good location and found this house in the year 2000. A beautiful location and a very good starting position for excursions. The house is used by us both privately and also offered for rent. There is a very good contact with the neighbors on both sides (Dutch and Belgian). When we come into the house it feels like we are coming home, we are proud of it.
