La Fontaine du Soleil is located in a very quiet place in the old authentic village of Salernes, named after the numerous fountains in the village.
Just a few minutes' walk away you will find the beautiful natural swimming pool, a bakery, cozy terraces, restaurants, shops and a Provencal market twice a week.
Salernes is located in the heart of Provençe, a green and versatile region full of charm. The area is characterized by rolling hills, vast forests, olive groves and vineyards with beautiful châteaux. It is an area where peace, nature and authentic Provencal atmosphere come together.
Thanks to its central location, you can reach impressive nature reserves such as the Gorges du Verdon and Lac Sainte-Croix within about half an hour's drive, ideal for lovers of water sports and beautiful nature walks.
Authentic Provençal villages such as Lorgues, Cotignac, Villecroze, Aups, Carcès, Entrecasteaux, Saillans-la-Cascade and Tourtour are all located within a half-hour radius.
The coastal towns of Sainte-Maxime, Saint-Tropez, Saint-Raphaël, Cannes and Nice are about an hour's drive from Salernes.
The vineyards with their beautiful châteaux and delicious wines are all in the immediate vicinity.
