Villa Varoise

Villa Varoise is a real Provencal villa with all the charms that come with it. The villa has 4 bedrooms and four bathrooms, a cozy, complete kitchen, a cozy living-dining room with beautiful  wood stove, a lovely veranda, a beautiful spacious terrace, a very spacious Mediterranean garden and all that located in a location in nature, near a large forest and many vineyards.

There is a jeu-de-boules court and a playground for children. In Lorgues, about a 5-minute drive away, you will find the Lorgues tennis club. Just outside Lorgues, on the road to Vidauban/Les Arcs, there is a pony club where children can take riding lessons. Nearby is also the adventure park L'Arnaude Adventure Park, a treetop climbing park in the middle of the vineyards of Domaine L'Arnaude on the road to Vidauban. The surroundings of Lorgues are also very suitable for walking and cycling, both with a mountain bike and  with a regular bicycle.

In Lorgues and other towns there are  opportunities to rent bicycles. They will even bring the bikes to your accommodation for a small fee and pick them up again. There are also municipal sports fields, which are freely accessible. The beaches of the Mediterranean Sea and the Gorges du Verdon can be reached within 45 minutes by car. In both Lorgues and the nearby medieval villages, you can visit historical sites and enjoy the local markets and festivals that take place under the characteristic plane trees of this region.
 
For sports enthusiasts, the area offers plenty of possibilities: golf, cycling, mountain biking, hiking, swimming, fishing, canoeing and more. Information about this can be obtained from the Lorgues tourist office.  Horse riding and fishing can also be enjoyed nearby. Water sports and paragliding are also possible.
  
Location of the villa
The villa is in a quiet rural setting, yet close to charming towns and villages. The house is located in a wooded valley just 3 km from the medieval village of Lorgues with restaurants and shops. The weekly market in Lorgues is an absolute must. There is a tennis court 3 km away and the famous Gorges du Verdon are 40 km from the villa. Visit the picturesque villages of Flayosc, Villecroze and Tourtour or take a canoe trip on the Argens River. The beautiful sandy beach of Fréjus is 40 km away and a day trip to Saint-Tropez (51 km) is also possible. We recommend the boat taxi from St. Maxime to St. Tropez.
 
The villa features a private swimming pool and a beautiful garden with terrace and barbecue. Furthermore, the accommodation offers a boules court, table tennis, free Wi-Fi, Chromecast (TV) and a washer-dryer.
  
Food and drink
In Lorgues and its surroundings, you will find numerous bistros and restaurants for every taste and budget. From the famous restaurant 'Chez Bruno' just outside Lorgues, known for its truffle specialities, to the high-quality 'La Table du Pôl' with traditional French dishes. The cozy Italian restaurant 'Main à la Pâte', just above the center of Lorgues, is also recommended (pizza and pasta dishes). Here you can eat outside on warm evenings, and children are welcome. There are also plenty of local vineyards and châteaux nearby where you can take tours and taste the wines.
