Villa Paranis is a lovely holiday home with a large, heated, private swimming pool (approx. 10m x 5m, a saltwater pool, with pool alarm), a beautiful (fenced) spacious garden of approx. 1600m2 with atmospheric lighting and an electric gate. The house is very quietly located in the leafy residential area of La Tour de Mare and offers a lot of privacy.
The villa is ideal for a group of 6 people (max. 7 people).
Villa Paranis is very easily accessible and is a 5-minute drive from the A8 motorway and about 40 minutes from Nice airport (about 60 km).
The house is located 5 km from the historic center of Fréjus and 5 km from the Mediterranean Sea with the beautiful sandy beaches and the marina Port Fréjus. You can stroll along the pleasant boulevards of Fréjus and Saint-Raphaël, where you will find a variety of restaurants and there are cozy (night) markets where all kinds of local products are sold.
About 2 km from our house is a small shopping center with the SPAR supermarket with bakery (open daily from 06.00-20.00), restaurant, pharmacy, dentist, banks, etc. The supermarché Grand Frais (2.5 km away) is also ideal for all your daily shopping, with a wide range of meats, fish, vegetables and cheeses.
In the house are on the ground floor the entrance, the bright living room (with fireplace), the dining room, the spacious kitchen and utility room with washer / dryer, 1 bedroom (with double bed 160x200m), bathroom and separate toilet.
There is a separate entrance to the annex, ensuring your optimal privacy. Here are 2 bedrooms (with 4 single beds of 90x200m, which can also be placed together as double beds), bathroom and toilet.
On the upper floor is 1 bedroom with a comfortable double sofa bed (160x200m). On the first floor and on the balcony you can see a strip of sea in the distance.
The 3 bedrooms downstairs have direct access to the terrace, pool, pool house and garden.
There is WIFI (fiber optic), a Smart TV with Dutch channels (via Canal Digitaal) and Netflix.
Around the house and the pool is the lovely garden with the striking old cork oak, oleanders, agapanthuses, bougainvillea, grape vines and a beautiful old olive tree. There are several shade and sun terraces.
From the covered front terrace you have a breathtaking view of the Estérel massif. This is a lovely terrace for drinks and food. You can also sit under the cork oak and under the cooling canopy of the mulberry trees. From the shaded pool house with the luxurious comfortable lounge set and the dining table you have a view of the swimming pool (salt water) with the bright, spacious travertine terrace, where there are also two Glatz parasols (diameter 3.5m) and various sunbeds (with cushions) to relax.
In the evening you will enjoy the beautiful, fairytale lighting in the garden and in the swimming pool!
The electric Weber barbecue can be used on the two barbecue trays in the garden.
In the front garden there is a pétanque court for a typical French game of jeu de boules (the boules are available)! You can also use the table tennis table (bats and balls are also available).
There are baby equipment (cots with good mattresses, high chairs, changing mats, toys, etc.). Games and books can also be found in our house.
Sports enthusiasts can go hiking, cycling and mountain biking in the beautiful surroundings and there are all kinds of water sports on the Mediterranean Sea. The Gorges du Verdon, also known as the Grand Canyon du Verdon, is about 1.5 hours away and the lake Lac St. Cassien is a 20-minute drive away. About 6 km from Paranis is the Aqualand water paradise in Fréjus and the karting circuit is next to it. There are several beautiful golf courses in the immediate vicinity. Wine lovers can visit the many beautiful wine estates in Fréjus and the surrounding area. From St. Maxime you take the ferry to Saint-Tropez (a nice boat trip of 15-20 minutes on the Golfe de Saint Tropez). You can visit (Vieux) Nice, the perfume city of Grasse, the fashionable Cannes, the beautiful Menton or the famous Monaco or find peace in the quiet villages in the hinterland.
