Escudes gite Woodenshoe

We rent 2 gites on our 23 HA domain. These are located in the u-shaped building on the left side of the main house. The estate was built in 1754 as a hunting lodge for nobility from Toulouse. The building of the Gites used to be the residence of the staff who looked after the dogs and horses. When the hunt disappeared and the lands turned into arable land, the lands of Escude's plum and apricot orchard. During your stay, we will gladly show you the remains of this time.

Wooden Shoe has its own garden with garden furniture and a covered terrace which provides shade. The garden gives a view of the estate and is very private. You enter the gites through the covered terrace, behind the door to the new kitchen which is fully equipped (fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven, electric hob, nespresso machine.) Here is also a cozy breakfast bar. To the right of the front door is the very spacious living room with separate large dining area. The wood burning stove in the living room also makes this house very suitable for stays outside the summer season. The living room has 2 sets of patio doors that open onto the terrace. The bedrooms are adjacent to the kitchen. The 5th bed is in a space between the bathroom and one of the bedrooms. The bathroom has a rain shower, sink and toilet. All beds are very luxurious box springs. On request, the single beds can also be made as a double bed. The washing machine and the dryer are in a space between the 2 gites and can be used by the guests of the 2 gites.

There are plenty of sun beds by the pool. There is a pool bar, where it is very pleasant to be. Your own water feature and more, the miles of hiking trails, tennis court, beautiful swimming pool, ensure that you actually do not have to go anywhere during your stay. But with 2 beautiful cities Montauban at 31 km and Toulouse at 46 km away with their beautiful history and pleasant terraces, these will certainly also be visited. Not to mention the numerous historic villages where in the summer months there are plenty of fêtes gourmandes (local food parties) and vides grenier (flea, flea markets). Due to the central location of the estate (30 minutes from the motorway and 40 minutes from the highway Blagnac airport in Toulouse) you will see a beautiful part of southern France, which in nature is reminiscent of Tuscany.
