This nature cottage is located high on the hill, in the most beautiful spot of a small domaine for adults only. The chalet was completely renovated in 2021 and has an open kitchen, toilet/shower, and a living/bedroom. There is an air conditioner. The cottage is very bright and has two sliding doors that give access to the private garden. The chalet is suitable for two people who appreciate a quiet and beautifully situated stay. In the evening it is so dark that you can enjoy a beautiful starry sky. There is plenty of space around the cottage and plenty of shade from the surrounding trees. Also make use of the beautiful swimming pool of 13 x 6 meters. The swimming pool is open from the beginning of May to mid-September. Due to its location on the hill, the cottage is not suitable for people with walking difficulties. Bringing a dog is allowed.

Welcome.
With two enthusiastic people from Brabant who have lost their hearts to the good French life in this beautiful region. The move to the Côte de Fumel was exciting, but the French joie de vivre next to the Lot Valley soon felt like home. Yet we have not let go of our roots: we have simply taken the well-known Brabant hospitality with us!

Location & area recommendations

Additional information

'Côte de Fumel' is situated in a beautiful hilly landscape with a beautiful location
villages, churches and country houses, which are often situated on high
excellent points. There are also countless bastides that are at the end
of the Middle Ages on fortified hills built on strategically located hills
towns such as Tournon, Roquecor, Montcuq and Beauville. The most beautiful
bastides we find Penne, Monflanquin, Pujols and Lauzerte.
One can visit castles, caves, farms or local
markets and festivities in the villages. In cities with regional art
and culture are many museums, but there are also museums with, among other things
the countryside grew local products (such as "le musée"
du pruneau "and" le musée du foi gras ").

Cycling through the hills is spicy, but for lovers one
challenge! For the trained cyclist it is really a beautiful one
environment for cycling.
Swimming
Of course it is wonderful to stay at our own swimming pool. In addition there are recreational lakes with beaches in the area where canoes and pedaloes are also rented.
Playing tennis
Valeilles has a small tennis court that can be hired per hour. We have tennis balls and tennis rackets available.
Water recreation
There is opportunity for water recreation - very beautiful - in Montaigu,
located about 10 kilometers from 'Côte de Fumel'. In St. Beauzeil flat
near Valeilles is a small lake and you can canoe on the Lot.
