Villa Mignon — Mesnil-Val, Normandy
Step inside and you go back a century. Villa Mignon is an Anglo-Norman villa from 1920, and it shows: wooden floors that creak, a kitchen from before all the trends, furniture that has lasted for generations. An old house by the sea never stays completely dust-free, and the occasional spider lives in the corners. Anyone who takes that into account feels at home here. Not a renovated holiday home, but an old house that has kept its character. It's in a quiet street in Mesnil-Val, with the sea and chalk cliffs a five-minute walk away.
The bakery is around the corner. The fishermen of Le Tréport (3 km) bring their catch to the Poissonnerie Municipale. On Wednesdays there is a market in Criel, the nicest in the region. In Eu (5 km) there is a large weekly market with Norman cheese, sausage, honey and vegetables from the land.
Layout
Space for 2 to 6 people, maximum 8, in three bedrooms. The beds are made on arrival.

In the dining room there is a wood stove with a seat next to it. Upstairs is a separate sitting room with two benches and a chess table.
Kitchen
The kitchen is old-fashioned, but everything works: dishwasher, microwave, bean coffee machine with milk frother and a washing machine. The dryer is in the garage. There is also a Sonos speaker and a smart TV for your own streaming services.
Garden
A large, enclosed garden with two terraces: a ground terrace and a terrace with red gravel. There is a barbecue and a children's pool. Umbrella, beach chairs and seats can be found in the lower garage.
Villa Mignon is not a house that is set up for rent. It is our own family home, old and complete, and we are happy to share that with you.
