My name is Marielle, together with my French husband we fell in love with Argelès-sur-mer. Living and working in the Netherlands, we were able to buy our own apartment there in 2020. We really enjoy the climate, the beach, the atmosphere and the beautiful surroundings. My husband loves to maintain the apartment tip-top, while I enjoy the sun, sea, beach and fun. When we retire in a few years, we hope to go more often and for longer.

Explanation of prices

The lessor can cancel this agreement in the event of serious circumstances. Major circumstances are defined as an event that means that the house can no longer reasonably be rented out. In that case, the landlord will reimburse all payments received from the tenant or provide a voucher in consultation with the tenant. The parties also agree that in the event of cancellation by the tenant, payments and deposits will not be refunded. The landlord recommends that the tenant take out cancellation insurance for this.
Argelès-sur-mer is located in one of the sunniest and driest regions of France with more than 2,200 hours of sunshine per year. In the event of prolonged drought, it is possible that government restrictions may be imposed, for example on the use of water. The landlord is not responsible for any consequences of such restrictions and the tenant is not entitled to any compensation from the landlord in that case.
