The 3 comfortable, cosily furnished gîtes of Maison van Stijn are very nice holiday homes to relax and catch your breath. With lots of unspoilt nature within easy reach, a sauna and a river and the possibility of a massage, it is a perfect place to "recharge your batteries". Do you want to come to yourself and catch your breath even more consciously? Then we cordially invite you to participate in our inspiring and challenging workshops and courses. And do you have a dog? They are also very welcome!

Fenced garden (communal) and fenced private terrace, river at the bottom of the site, lots of privacy and yet shops, bakery and restaurants within walking distance. Meals service. Easy to drive up. Parking on private property. Offgrid, wood-fired sauna with wellness deck, 2 cold water baths and shower. Possibility of relaxation massage or hot stone massage from Dutch masseuse in your own gîte. Fantastic walking and biking area. Exclusively for our guests, we have a large number of hikes available as GPX files for smartphone or hiking GPS (so never get lost again). Price includes: wifi, bed linen, electricity, tourist tax and final cleaning.


Gite Les Trois Étoiles d'Auvergne is a cosily furnished, comfortable gite, where you can relax all year round (also during winter sports!). The gite is suitable for max. 5 people. Due to the partly sloping roof and the wooden beams, this holiday home has a lot of charm and light. The gite is located entirely on the ground floor, with a split level of 3 steps.

Detailed Description:
Except for 3 steps on the ground floor!
You enter the gite through a spacious hallway, then you enter the spacious hall with wardrobe, an old French desk, separate toilet and access to the bathroom. When you take 3 steps down in the hall, you enter the L-shaped open kitchen, which is equipped with built-in appliances and all necessities. When you have passed the dining table you enter the cozy sitting area with a spacious lounge sofa, 2.5 seater sofa, stereo/c.d. player, DVD player, flat screen TV with satellite connection, and a lovely Supra insert wood stove. From the sitting area you can walk through the patio doors to your spacious south-facing terrace. From the seating area you have a view of your terrace, meters high spruces and nice borders.
If you take 3 steps up in the sitting area, you will enter the Master Bedroom with a double bed (2 separate mattresses 90x200 cm) and wardrobe. All our beds have good mattresses and 4-season duvets! From the bedroom you walk into the luxurious bathroom (the bathroom can be reached through the hall as well as through the Master Bedroom) with separate shower, bath, 2 sinks and design radiator. So there is no need to shower in the bath, which makes this gite ideal for people who are less mobile, but can take 3 steps! Adjacent to the kitchen you will find the 2nd bedroom with 1 single bed of 90 x 200 cm and 1 single bed of 90 x 200 cm which you can easily turn into a double bed of 180 x 200 cm.

Terrace (fully fenced) facing south, Garden (fully fenced, shared) approx. 4,000 m2, private river

In front of the gite you have access to a private, enclosed south-facing terrace, with garden furniture and sun loungers. The terrace is bordered with a nice border. In addition to the use of the terrace, you can use the entire garden (approx. 4,000 m2, communal). Guests of Maison van Stijn can reach the private river at the bottom of the site via a "natural" staircase.

Open all year round, including winter sports! The ski slopes of Super Besse are 15 minutes away. Drive from the gite. Medium-sized winter sports area: Sancy

The gite is excellently insulated and can be heated well by means of fast-acting central (electric) heating and a lovely Supra insert wood stove. Both in summer and winter it is therefore very pleasant in temperature in the gite. Firewood is available on site. You can park your car on our private property, near the entrance of the gîte.

On holiday with your dog
Dogs are just as welcome as their owners. The gîte is adjacent to the fully fenced garden (communal) and has a fenced private terrace. Of course, your dog can also use the private river on our property. Within walking distance of the gîte there are 2 waterfalls and a swimming lake for your dog(s). Your dog is allowed to run free (almost) everywhere. There are countless beautiful walks to be made with plenty of shade and cooling. Exclusively for our guests, we have a large number of hikes available as GPX files for smartphone or hiking GPS. There is also a walking booklet available in the gîte.
