Gîte Montgaudon
We look forward to welcoming you to our high altitude Burgundian farmhouse with beautiful views of the surroundings. The gîte is equipped with all modern comforts and consists of a living room with beamed ceiling, fireplace and original French floor tiles. Next to the living room is the bedroom with a comfortable box spring and bathroom with toilet. From the window in the bedroom you look out over the large enclosed garden with a view of the hills. The second spacious bedroom is reached by means of a private entrance. This bedroom also has a private bathroom with toilet.
The Morvan Regional Natural Park, of which Gîte Montgaudon is a part, is an unspoiled, hilly area with valleys, forests and large lakes. For example, there is a walking route from the gîte that takes you past views and picturesque farms. You can also explore the nearby Burgundian villages on foot or by bike where many cozy flea markets are organized. This nature cottage is also an ideal place for numerous activities. From the gîte you can explore the MTB routes indicated in the area by mountain bike. With a racing bike you can climb and descend the winding mountain roads from this nature house.
Gîte Montgaudon can be heated in two ways, by means of pellet stove or by central heating. Pellets are available at supermarkets or hardware stores. If you want to use the central heating, you pay 20 euros per night.
