Welcome to Gîte Le Vieux Moulin, a spacious and attractive holiday home for 12 people, located in the quiet village of Lachalade, in the heart of the French Argonne (Grand Est). This former farmhouse has been carefully renovated into a comfortable residence where simplicity, tranquility and nature are central.
The house is ideal for families and groups of friends who want to enjoy silence, space and the outdoors together. Each bedroom has its own bathroom with shower, sink and toilet, which provides extra privacy and comfort. All rooms are also air-conditioned, pleasant during hot days.
Inside you will find a large living space with a fully equipped kitchen, a long dining table and a cozy sitting area. Thanks to two dishwashers, you don't have to worry about washing the dishes. In addition, there is a washing machine and dryer, a separate cloakroom for cycling clothing, a bicycle car wash and a safe indoor space to store bicycles. Of course there is also wifi for those who want to be online for a while.
Outside, you can enjoy a spacious terrace to eat together or relax. The jacuzzi offers extra relaxation after an active day, and with two petanque courts, there is always room for a playful moment.
The area is a true paradise for hikers, cyclists, gravel bikers and mountain bikers. Numerous routes start directly at the house and take you past forests, hills and quiet landscapes. The impressive Lachalade Abbey is within walking distance, and history buffs will also find numerous memorial sites and museums from the First World War nearby.
With so much to do and experience, Gîte Le Vieux Moulin is the ideal base for families and active connoisseurs. This is where memories are made.
