You do not have to book with us from Saturday to Saturday. We are flexible in this. Of course depending on the reservations that have already been made. So be quick to avoid having to travel on busy Saturdays!
Cozy, the gite for up to 4 people has a tent nearby on a deck between the trees for the children. How nice is that! See also the video attached at the time of building the deck.
Why do people like it here? The fast fiber optic internet which makes watching Formula 1 or football possible without noise. Or ... the peace, space, nature (bird watching, yes the Oriole!, owls, etc..) and the clean air perhaps? Or perhaps as a beacon to help you search for your own home from this place. In addition, it is sometimes nice that we are nearby in case something goes wrong. (For example, consider a doctor's or hospital visit if the French language is a thing. We are discreet and happy to help you.)
But please note, there is plenty of privacy for you and us. The site covers more than 3 hectares, so there is plenty of room to chill out, spot animals, play (swing available and more play equipment) or whatever you want. Grab a chair and place it in your desired spot and enjoy.
Belle Boissierettte's Cozy gite is quietly and spaciously located on top of a hill and very easily accessible by car via the paved road. A beautiful view of the meadow, lavender hedge and cypresses and the park-like garden and the distant view to the east. On a clear night the Milky Way is clearly visible. In short, peace and space, even in high season. If you like sculptures and art, a well-known Parisian artist lives opposite us and has a sculpture garden. You can just go there, it's free. And if you just want to sit quietly on the terrace, feel free to do so. There is a reasonable chance that a deer will simply walk by. Just during the day.
The beds are clean and fresh, ready for you. The gite has a wood stove that can be used and a BBQ is ready for use outside. Lazy chairs are around the pool. And wherever you want to sit, we don't care, just grab your chair and put it where you want. Plenty of choice.
We have our own swimming pool for the little ones, which can be placed next to the large pool. So cozy.
There is actually a lot to say about Belle Boissierette, but it is better to experience it yourself. The children's room in Cozy has a scaffolding wooden bunk bed. Look at the pictures. With its own night light and nice and cozy for every child.... also suitable for larger "children" (80x200) :)).
And because we want your holiday to start pleasantly, you are not obliged to arrive on Saturday, you can do so on any day. Depending on availability of course. Saves you from stressful driving on busy French roads on Saturdays during the high season. However, we appreciate a minimum stay of 3 days. But really, you will find that that will not be a problem.
Unfortunately, pets and other animals are not allowed. We have chickens and our older dog Kareltje and we think that is enough.
And if you want to come with friends or family, rent the other gite Pure for 2 people. Cozy and Pure have their own privacy and are located reasonably far away from each other and out of sight. So if you come to us with grandma/grandpa or a bunch of friends, there is the opportunity to be together yet apart. Children don't have to cross a road to go to the other gite or to the swimming pool, which is also nice. Everything is on the domaine of Belle Boissierette. So we go on holiday together, but not together, how nice it is to occasionally retreat to do something on the PC (fiber optic)....or to look inside. But you can still enjoy a meal together under the trees, for example from the BBQ, while the children play in the park-like garden. It can hardly get more French. Book quickly if you want to go on holiday together.
What else can be done is: cycling, horse riding, go-karting in Cahors, hot air balloon rides, swimming in the Dordogne, wine tastings and buying wine, visiting medieval towns and browsing the brocantes, kayaking or SUPing, learning drone flying and flying courses, visiting castles , visit a monkey park or watch birds from the terrace. Plenty to do anyway.
