Beautiful, quietly located holiday home (85m2) with veranda, private pool and several sun terraces. Nice view over one of the valleys of the Lot (SW-France). Large garden with several seating areas in sun or shade to relax or read a book.
Location
Les Tulipes is located in Labastide du Vert, close to quaint medieval towns such as Les Arques, Albas, Puy l'Eveque and Montcuq, where all sorts of things are organised in high season. Think of live music, (night) markets, flea markets, wine tastings, food festivals, etc. About 1.5 hours away you will find tourist attractions such as Les Gouffres de Padirac, Rocamadour or Saint Cirq-Lapopie.
The lively village of Prayssac with restaurants, terraces, shops, and a great local market is 7 minutes away by car. The bakery is 3 minutes away. Walking or cycling in the beautiful nature is done from the house!
The house
The house is fully equipped for four people, but is rented to a maximum of 2 people. This way you have plenty of space for a relaxing holiday :-).
- Les Tulipes is a restored 19th century house, built in the famous natural stone of the region: a so-called 'maison en pierre'.
- In the living room you will find a comfortable sitting area with flat screen TV (Samsung the frame) to stream your favorite TV shows. Or use the owners' Netflix account to enjoy an evening of a good movie.
- There is a fast Wi-Fi connection (fiber optic), so you can possibly. can also work remotely.
- Through the patio doors of the living room you reach the covered terrace with a cozy dining table; From the patio doors in the kitchen you enter the lounge terrace with afternoon and evening sun.
- The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, Nespresso machine, washing machine and a small oven.
- On the top floor you will find a comfortable bedroom with high beamed ceiling and plenty of closet space, a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet.
Activities nearby
Visit one of the beautiful towns on the River Lot. Relax in the garden, or go hiking, kayaking or cycling.
Fancy culture? Labastide du Vert was also the home of the famous painter Henri Martin, whose gardens you can visit. His paintings can be found in the Henri Martin museum in Cahors. This spring an exhibition is dedicated to the painter in the Singer in Laren (NL).
Also nice: discover Cahors, with the famous 14th century 'Pont Valentré' and taste the most delicious dishes and wines from the region.
In short: Les Tulipes is the perfect place for those who love nature, peace and space, but who also enjoy the culture and cuisine of this region.

- For the comfort of our guests, pets and smoking are not allowed in the holiday home.
- Check-in is possible from 16:00; Check-out is before 10.00 am.
- The price includes bed linen; On arrival, the bed is already made for you.
- Cleaning and dishwashing detergents, tea towel, dishcloth, dishwashing brush and coffee & tea for the first day are provided.
- Please bring your own bath towels and towels; These are not present.
- The owners live on the same property (1.2 ha). They grant you complete privacy, but are happy to be at your disposal for questions, tips or translations.
- The swimming pool is private for guests and is open from 08:00 - 20:00.
