Sirepeche
Built in the 17th century, Sirepeche is loved by four generations of English families and their friends, initially as a home and later as a holiday home. It is a base for active holidays, relaxation and parties. Sirepeche is located in one of the most unknown corners of the valley, on top of a hill overlooking its own piece of paradise.
This beautiful private property with its own large private swimming pool and paddling pool for children is located two hours drive north of Toulouse-Blagnac airport, approximately 40 minutes from Cahors and 5 minutes from the small village of Grézels. The Lot Valley is one of France's hidden gems.
Inside
The very cozy and enormous kitchen is modern and ideal for large groups as it is equipped with a 5-burner gas hob with 2 ovens, 2 x 12 place setting dishwashers, a large dining table and a sitting area with a huge fireplace. Extra sitting and study area, beautiful terrace. Bedrooms: 4 double rooms with king size beds, 1 bedroom with 2 single beds and a 7 person dormitory. 5 bathrooms, 3 of which are en suite.
Outside
Overlooking the rolling hills and absolutely private, you will feel like royalty in this beautiful garden, a hidden gem in the French countryside. Feel comfortable by your own private pool, or play a game in the private garden…
Environment
The Lot Valley is covered in vines and fields of sunflowers, dotted with pretty villages and interlaced with small, winding country roads. The house is located on the south side of the Causses de Quercy, an area covered in heathland, oak woodlands and wildflower meadows - perfect for walks and picnics. There is plenty to do: motorboating or kayaking on the Lot; markets for local products, antiques; fishing; tennis…on particularly rainy days there are castles to visit, museums, fortified churches and much more. If you prefer simple relaxation, there is nothing better than settling down by the pool to drink a glass of local wine that you can purchase by visiting one of the local vineyards. The house has a lot of privacy without making you feel isolated. There are supermarkets in the town of Puy l'Evêque and Prayssac. You will also find plenty of restaurants to suit all budgets, from simple brasserie to haute cuisine.
Activities
Every village on the river has a place where you can rent kayaks, canoes and motorboats for an hour or half a day. Copeyre Quercyland in Puy l'Evêque is a 10-minute drive from the house. Cycling and running - The area is full of roads and trails, perfect for cycling and running.
