This holiday home is for gourmets! In "Cannelle" you experience old charm, comfort and a delicious croissant on your terrace with a beautiful view.

This old bakery dates back to around 1240 and is without a doubt one of the oldest houses in France. Now it is a tasteful holiday home in which centuries-old architecture and modern interior design go together perfectly.

It is beautifully situated on a rock, in the Bastide village of Flaugnac, so that you have a panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding hills from your terrace. The old hangar next to the house is a covered terrace, where you can read a book in the shade, looking out over the valley, dream away or cool off in the garden shower.

Let yourself be seduced by the peace and nature and enjoy French country life.

Layout:
Living room with open kitchen, dining area, sitting area, toilet, wood stove, old bread oven, WIFI, WIFI TV, Bluetooth speaker. Fully equipped kitchen with hob, oven, dishwasher and washing machine. Bedroom on the first floor with double bed (160cm x 200cm) and built-in wardrobe. Ensuite bathroom with rain shower, sink, towel dryer and toilet. Terrace with garden furniture, barbecue, fresh herb garden and views over the Vallée de la Lupte. Covered terrace with garden furniture, hammock and garden shower.

This region of France is rich in history, cultural heritage and natural beauty. There is a lot to discover. The Quercy Blanc is a feast for the senses. Admire the rolling mosaic landscapes with sunflowers, lavender and melons. Visit centuries-old white Bastide villages with markets to die for.

Enjoy pure simplicity. Dream away on an old square, walk through the vineyards or have a glass of wine at sunset. Experience the true French rural life. Visit a wine farm, taste regional dishes and become acquainted with local crafts.

Surrounded by various unique nature reserves, a holiday full of variety awaits you. About the location
Flaugnac is located at the southernmost tip of the Lot department. At 1,061 km from Utrecht, approximately 11 hours' drive. Easily accessible via the A20, 10 minutes from exit 58. By plane from Toulouse with KLM/Air France, Ryanair and Easyjet.

What is there to do?
From your holiday home you can walk straight into the valley, where there are beautiful walking routes. The walking route to Santiago de Compostella also passes close to the village. You can also play tennis, golf, horse riding, swimming, cycling and fishing within 10 minutes. The bastide village of Castelnau Montratier (5 min) has all the daily necessities. In addition, a local bakery delivers bread in Flaugnac 3 times a week. In summer there are often festivities on the central square in Castelnau, such as a weekly “marché gourmand” with regional dishes and music. There is also an excellent heated outdoor swimming pool and a lively market every week. You can taste wine every day at the local wine farm (within walking distance).
