This old bakery dates back to around 1240 and is without a doubt one of the oldest houses in France. Now it is a tasteful holiday home in which centuries-old architecture and modern interior design go together perfectly.
It is beautifully situated on a rock, in the Bastide village of Flaugnac, so that you have a panoramic view of the valley and the surrounding hills from your terrace. The old hangar next to the house is a covered terrace, where you can read a book in the shade, looking out over the valley, dream away or cool off in the garden shower.

About the location
Flaugnac is located at the southernmost tip of the Lot department. At 1,061 km from Utrecht, approximately 11 hours' drive. Easily accessible via the A20, 10 minutes from exit 58. By plane from Toulouse with KLM/Air France, Ryanair and Easyjet.
What is there to do?
From your holiday home you can walk straight into the valley, where there are beautiful walking routes. The walking route to Santiago de Compostella also passes close to the village. You can also play tennis, golf, horse riding, swimming, cycling and fishing within 10 minutes. The bastide village of Castelnau Montratier (5 min) has all the daily necessities. In addition, a local bakery delivers bread in Flaugnac 3 times a week. In summer there are often festivities on the central square in Castelnau, such as a weekly “marché gourmand” with regional dishes and music. There is also an excellent heated outdoor swimming pool and a lively market every week. You can taste wine every day at the local wine farm (within walking distance).
