Mon Désir is a beautiful, typical French manor, located in the most beautiful part of the Périgord Noir (Dordogne/Lot) and can accommodate up to 14 people. This luxury holiday residence with a large private heated swimming pool and complete privacy consists of two buildings:
• The Manoir (main house) for up to 10 people
• The Gîte for up to 4 people
The domain of over 4 hectares (much of which is completely fenced in a dog-proof way!) is located on top of a hill, with a breathtaking view over the valley of the Dordogne and Lot. The medieval town of Gourdon, with all amenities and many restaurants, is only a 10 minute drive away. In the nearby village you will also find a bakery and a good restaurant just a few kilometers away.
Mon Désir is ideal for several families, families or groups, but also wonderfully private and romantic for couples. A luxurious holiday address for an unforgettable holiday.
Indoor – Manor
The main house has a generous living area of 260 m² and has a spacious living room with modern open kitchen and patio doors to the terrace. The house has a total of five bedrooms, two bathrooms and one bedroom with a private shower. The bedrooms are spread over the first and second floor and have air conditioning.
Gîte
The separately located gîte offers complete privacy and can accommodate up to four people. The gîte features a cozy living room, kitchen, two bedrooms and a bathroom, and is fully equipped with air conditioning, both in the bedrooms and in the living room. The gîte is never rented to other guests; If you don't book it, it will remain closed.
Outside
The estate around Mon Désir consists of meadows and woods and covers more than four hectares. Thanks to the centuries-old trees and the rolling landscape, there is a quiet and atmospheric ambiance here. Outside you will find a large private heated swimming pool, several terraces, a spacious courtyard and plenty of parking. There is also a separate building set up as a play area. Much of the property is fully fenced, making this location ideal for guests who want to bring their dogs.
Environment
Ideally located between the Lot and the Dordogne, Mon Désir offers access to some of the most beautiful places in the region. Towns and villages such as Sarlat, Domme, La Roque-Gageac, Rocamadour, Padirac and Gourdon are all within easy reach. The views are endless, and thanks to the very low light pollution (one of the lowest in Europe) you can enjoy a spectacular starry sky here at night.
Outside the months of July and August, prices are based on the use of the main house only (max. 10 people). Those who also want to use the gîte pay €500 per week extra. The gîte is never rented separately to others.
