Welcome to Les Séchoirs
Some places have something special. As soon as you drive onto the domain, see the old tobacco barns and see the river Lot flowing quietly by, you feel that the pace slows down automatically. That's exactly why we fell in love with Les Séchoirs.
Our small-scale holiday domain was built in 1780 and is located on the river in the charming village of Clairac, in the middle of the Lot-et-Garonne. Here you will not find mass tourism, but real French life. Stroll to the bakery for a fresh baguette, visit a local market, enjoy a glass of wine on your terrace or step onto the water from our jetty with a canoe, SUP or boat.
Les Séchoirs consists of three attractive gîtes, each with its own character. The accommodations are comfortably furnished and offer plenty of privacy. There is plenty of space to relax around the domain. Take a dip in the spacious swimming pool, play a game of jeu de boules or table tennis, read a book under the trees or simply enjoy the peace and quiet and the view over the river.
Gîte La Rivière
Gîte La Riviere is an attractive and comfortable holiday home for up to 6 people, located on the characteristic domain Les Séchoirs on the river Lot.
The gîte is spread over two floors. On the ground floor you will find a cozy living room with a comfortable sitting area, a fully equipped kitchen and a dining area where you can enjoy an extensive breakfast or a long summer evening together and a spacious bathroom On the first floor there are two comfortable bedrooms.
Outside, you have a private terrace with garden furniture, where you can have breakfast in peace, read a good book or end the day with a glass of local wine. The gîte overlooks the green garden of the domain, allowing you to fully enjoy the peace and nature.
As a guest of La Riviere you can use all the facilities of Les Séchoirs. Take a refreshing dip in the spacious swimming pool, play a game of jeu de boules or table tennis, get on a SUP or canoe and discover the river Lot from the water. The Gite also includes a private jetty with a whisper boat. For enthusiasts, electric bicycles are also available for rent to explore the beautiful surroundings.
Within a few minutes you can walk to the cozy center of Clairac with a bakery, restaurants and terraces. The many authentic French markets, vineyards and bastide villages are also within easy reach.
La Riviere is the ideal place for couples, families or friends looking for comfort, tranquility and the charm of the real South West France. You don't have to do anything here. Everything is allowed. And before you know it, you will automatically live in the relaxed rhythm of the French days.
