Adjacent to the garden of the Abbey of Pontlevoy you will find the holiday home "Maison La Rose". It is a charming detached house - with a heated saltwater pool - built from irregular natural stone, which gives the house a special look. La Rose is suitable for 2 persons and possibly a baby / toddler. La Rose also has an outbuilding "La Petite Poire" which is suitable for 2 persons and possibly a baby / toddler. That makes the house suitable for 4 people. Ideal for 2 families or a family with older children who want to stay on site.

La Rose has a modern kitchen with a dishwasher, modern fridge-freezer, gas hob, extractor, cooker, microwave, steam oven and oven. There is also plenty of crockery and glassware available.The living room is adjacent to the kitchen and is comfortably furnished. You have comfortable armchairs. There is a wood stove which, in addition to atmosphere and cosiness also provides additional heating of the house. As main heating, the entire house is equipped with central heating. There are; cooking, reading books and information about the region present. Furthermore, there is a Stereo with USB connection and Bluetooth and DVD player present and there are internet facilities (ADSL) with WIFI. Satellite HD TV (with all Dutch channels).
The bedroom has a 2 bed, with 2 separate mattresses (1 person), bedside tables, reading lamps and a large wardrobe. The bathroom has a sink, shower and extra wardrobe. For the smallest there is a cot, child seat, crockery and a toilet. The toilet is located on the first floor.
La Rose, stands in a walled garden. A restful place with lots of privacy, luxury and has a beautiful view of the 1000-year-old abbey of the village. Around the house there are several terraces. There is a large illuminated natural pond with a wooden terrace where you can enjoy a snack and a drink in a pure French ambiance. A spacious lawn, many fruit trees, plants, (picking) herbs and you can use the refreshing salt water pool.

Studio (2. pers) Charming detached cottage. The existing part is made of stucco natural stone and the construction from Douglashout. (ecological construction) total (40m2). The cottage has recently been restored to the comfort of the present time. The house has a spacious kitchen with a modern kitchen with gas hob, small fridge, coffee maker and enough glasses, crockery and pans. A dining table and sitting area with two comfortable armchairs. There is also a spacious bedroom with a hanging / storage cupboard and storage space for your suitcases. The bathroom has underfloor heating and towels radiator, shower, sink and toilet. The entire house has a natural stone floor, is well insulated and has central heating.

Our pool of 8x4 is a saltwater swimming pool. The water feels soft and is very clear. The pool is heated to a very comfortable 28C / 82 F) and is located in a sunny and quiet part of the garden. The swimming pool is open when the weather permits from May to September. Sun loungers and parasols are available. You can rent towels or take care of yourself.
