In our chalet in the French Alps we rent rooms (see other advertisement) and an apartment for max 6 people, with a private living room with open kitchen. We rent the apartment on the basis of bed.

The apartment has its own atmosphere, a nice bathroom and a balcony with a breathtaking view. You have free use of WIFI, and of the hot tub and sauna in the garden.

You can also book Chalet Solneige with several friends or a large family; then it is an ideal group accommodation where you will be well looked after.

We are Therese Gasser and Pieter Janse, since 2010 the owners of Chalet Solneige. We welcome you with pleasure. We will do everything we can to make you have a wonderful holiday in this beautiful place. Around our 45th, we agreed that we, like our work, also wanted other things in life. In Vaujany we found the place where we can do what we have fun in: making people feel like in our own business.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Our prices are per week per apartment. The price includes beds made on arrival, use of wifi, hot tub and sauna. One parking space per apartment.
Additional costs are € 85 mandatory final cleaning/towels/bed linen, and € 1.50 tourist tax per person per day.

In summer our region is the absolute heaven for cyclists and motorcyclists: all famous pass roads such as Galibier, Croix de fer and Alpe d'Huez are litterely around the corner.
For hikers there's endless possibilities to make longer or shorter hikes, some of them starting from the chalet.

If you enjoy skiing or snowboarding, Chalet Solneige your ideal starting point for a great skiing holiday.

Alpe d'Huez is one of the most famous ski resorts in France. Over 250 kilometers of pistes and 87 lifts ensure that everyone is happy.
For the advanced skiers is the descent of the Sarenne a real challenge (with a length of 16 km the longest black slope in the world). The Vaujany side is famous for it's family friendliness, with many blue and red slopes.
Until the end of April you can ski on the higher slopes.

In our beautiful garden you will find a hot tub and a sauna. Enjoy the warm water and jet streams in the hot tub, and relax in the 4 persons sauna. Our guests can use these facilities after a long day of skiing, cycling or hiking.

The village of Vaujany also has a sports center with indoor pool, hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and gym. Enjoy some skating in the new ice rink, or come and watch an ice hockey match! Bowling lanes in the same building.

Grenoble airport 70 min. Lyon airport 90 min. Geneva airport 2.5 hours. Transfers are possible.
By car: take the motorway to Grenoble and from there 50 K over the Route Nationale D 1091.
