Domaine Pouzoult, Gîte Orange

At a travel distance of just one day, you imagine yourself in another world with beautiful hilly landscape and quiet villages. Our gîte/holiday home is located on a private plot of 2.5 ha bordered by a row of trees. It is located in the beautiful region of Le Berry (Indre/Centre - Val de Loire). This area, not yet discovered by mass tourism, is very attractive for walkers and cyclists, but also for people looking for peace and quiet.

Domaine Pouzoult consists of three buildings, including our house and two large barns. It is originally an old farm and here and there you can still find the original elements. The small
Barn has been converted into a buanderie (private) and a comfortable gîte. This gîte is accessible via a separate entrance and there is plenty of space for parking your car. The beautiful veranda at the rear of the gîte gives you plenty of freedom and no nuisance from the owners who live on the same property and no nuisance from other guests.

The house located in lieu-dit Pouzoult belongs to the municipality of Sazeray, a small village with 320 inhabitants. In the nearby village of St. Sévère sur Indre you have a bakery, butcher, post office, a small supermarket and a restaurant where you can eat deliciously.

Our gîte has been carefully decorated and equipped with every comfort, including WiFi.
You have a well-equipped kitchen with a kettle, espresso machine, an oven and microwave. Kitchen linen is provided by us. The large square kitchen table is located near the kitchen unit. In the same large space, the gîte offers a spacious living room, with a cozy sitting area near the
Godin wood stove. A door gives access to the veranda.

A wide 'lazy' staircase leads to the bedroom floor. This has two single beds that can be placed against each other if desired. There is plenty of closet space. The beds are made before arrival and the bath towels are ready for you. The bathroom has a large sink and a spacious rain shower. The toilet is located separately.

At the back of the gîte you have a beautiful veranda where you can sit. There is also a long dining table here, so you can linger at the table long after dinner. In the garden there are several sun loungers where you can relax. Fancy a game of jeu de boules? We have created a nice job. In the evening you can dream away at the fire pit and enjoy the starry sky. A little further away, at the end of the meadow is a bench. From here you have a beautiful view of the valley. Lovely place to sit down with a cup of coffee or a glass of wine.

Our gîte is a so-called 'adults only' location and unfortunately, pets are not allowed.
