Le Souquet is located in the middle of Castelbouze, a characteristic French hamlet near Saint-Chinian
Saint Chinian is located in the Département Hérault, in the province of Languedoc-Roussillon. The Languedoc-Roussillon is the largest wine region in France.
This old wine barn has been completely renovated and stylishly furnished, resulting in a beautiful luxury holiday home. The kitchen has now been built in the cuve, the room where the wine used to rest. A beautiful kitchen with a professional five-burner gas stove. In addition, there is a large refrigerator, dishwasher and Nespresso machine. Furthermore, all pots and pans are of course available to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner yourself.
Next to the kitchen is the salle à manger (dining room) with patio doors to a lovely private garden and private swimming pool (5 x 2) with a jet stream, which you can swim against endlessly!
Le Souquet has a private parking space with a charging point for electric vehicles.
Both on the ground floor and on the first floor are a bedroom and a bathroom. Bathroom with bath, walk-in shower and toilet. The entire holiday home is about 110 m2 in size.
Upstairs in the saloon there is a Bose Bluetooth player, an Apple TV and a DVD player for relaxation.
The bedroom and bathroom are also located upstairs. The bathroom has a bath, walk-in shower and toilet.
Downstairs is a bathroom with large walk-in shower and toilet.
From April 2026, Le Souquet has air conditioning that you can use to cool or heat the house.
Swimming
In addition to our private saltwater swimming pool 2 x 5m and 1.60 deep , there are lovely spots/beaches to be found on the river Orb but also around Saint Chinian in the river Vernazobre.
The distance to the beaches on the Mediterranean Sea is about 35 minutes by car from Le Souquet.
Canoeing
Rent a canoe and discover the beautiful valley of the river
Orb from the water. For both beginners and advanced
experience! You will find the canoe center 22 kilometers from la Souquet in Roquebrun.
Visit Terre des Dames
The Terre des Dames domain, formerly Mas des Dames of Lidewij van Wilgen, is located in the hills above Béziers (Languedoc).
All the vineyards around the house from 1750 still have their original structure: small plots surrounded by wild vegetation. Ideal for our organic wayof working.
Every Thursday at 16.00h
Walk through the vineyards, visit of the cave and convivial tasting with aperitif.
