We, Marieke and Jan are happy to take you on an adventure in search of a great new challenge! After almost 30 years of running Restaurant Jean Marie in Gouda, we are going to start again in the South of France by running a culinary chambre d'hotes & Gîte!

We, Jan & Marieke, started this adventure after having first earned our "tracks" in the Netherlands by running a specialty restaurant in Gouda. Jean Marie, our restaurant, which we have run with a lot of love and passion for almost 30 years, was awarded a BIB Gourmand from the Michelin.

We want the appreciation of this prestigious award to be the golden thread in our chambre d'hotes. In the south of France we naturally also aim for the best quality. Marie Jean stands for culinary, service-oriented hospitality! Your entire stay will feel like a very luxurious pampering holiday!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The rental options are from 19-06 to 04-09 for a minimum of 3 consecutive days. . Room rate includes breakfast. The other rental options are two nights in a row or otherwise in consultation.

Prices include bath and bed linen, pool towels, kitchen linen and final cleaning.

Prices do not include € 1.50 local tourist tax per person per day. (price level 2021)

Maximum 2 small pets, on request. Costs € 25 per animal, per week or stay.

Extra bed for 3rd person on request, with additional charges.

*In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge

*In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price

*In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price

*In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price

*In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price

If the tenant does not make use of the rented property (anymore) until the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
