Gite Le Montet is a cozy holiday home for 4/5 people and a baby/toddler, and located in the authentic Hoeve Le Montet. Le Montet takes its name from the hill and landscape on which it was built in the late 1700s. The old small cottage where the farmer used to live is now a cosy Gite.
Gite Le Montet is equipped with all comforts, suitable for family, together or if you are alone.
- The open kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, dishwasher, magnatron, oven (a pizza also fits), water cooker and for the coffee drinker there is a choice of a coffee maker, Senseo or a Dolce Gusto. (for what you prefer)
- The living room has a 3 person sofa and 2 drawers.
- There is a TV with soundbar, via the dish you receive Dutch and other foreign channels.
- In the low season you can use the electric heaters and the wood stove.
- Next to the kitchen there is access to the utility room, here is the magnatron, cleaning supplies, the boiler, electricity cupboard, water connection, coat rack and access to the toilet.
- On the first floor are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, landing with box bed. The largest bedroom has a double bed 160x 200, a single bed and a wardrobe for clothes. For a baby/toddler a camping bed with a good mattress can be added. In the small bedroom there are 2 single beds in an L-shape. On the landing is a cozy box bed, which is suitable for children up to 150/160 tall, nice corner for children to play, read a book.
- The bathroom with shower, sink, 2nd toilet and cupboard for your bath linen and toiletries.
- The garden is fenced, spacious with both sun and shade spots. There is a garden set, picnic table, 2 sun loungers and hammock. There is a rotary dryer for laundry. 2x a week a free laundry can be done.
- For barbecue lovers there is a barbecue.
- On the farm
- In the summer months there is a trampoline, climbing and climbing frame with slide, seesaw for the little ones and seats to relax on the large playing field. There is a small swimming pool, which is great for the necessary water fun on hot days. The pool is about 1 meter deep. For safety reasons, we would like to see young children under the supervision of a parent. The pool is fenced. (legal safety regulations).
- In the former stable there is an indoor play corner for the youngest, a games cabinet and bookcase.
- Washing machine use:
- The washing machine is in the sanitary room, the washing machine can be used free of charge 2 times a week in consultation , including detergent (we provide phosphate-free detergent). Extra laundry € 5 per wash.
- Wi-Fi: For the guest Wi-Fi, you will receive a code to log in.
- For days out, there are folders with information about the area and there is a calendar with fun activities in the area, such as flea markets, party markets, music festival (Sept)
- There are beautiful hiking trails of 3 to 16 km in the vicinity, a climbing and clambering forest, several swimming / recreation lakes and for those who love fishing there is plenty of fishing water and a temporary fishing permit can be bought at the local bar, there are many castles, aquarium in Limoges, a visit to the former village of Ouradour sur Glane will certainly leave an impressive impression. (war museums )A visit to the city of Limoges is also not to be missed.
- In low season Our swimming pool is closed, you can go for an afternoon of swimming in Limoges at the large indoor swimming pool
- Because we sometimes do maintenance in the low season, it is possible that the house is not available. Feel free to ask about the possibilities without obligation.
