Chalet 'Vivaldi'

The chalet is located on Lake Annecy, in Glière (com.Doussard) on a large plot of approximately 2000 m2 on a private road with about ten houses, where only local traffic comes.
From the partially covered balcony there is an impressive 180 degree view. You see the lake with its fishing boats, sailing boats, a marina, small beaches and the nature reserve "Le Bout du Lac".
The background is formed by the snow-covered mountains of the Bauges in winter. (UNESCO nature reserve)
There is ample parking for several cars on site.
The garden is largely fenced and offers complete privacy. The balcony can be closed with a gate.
To swim in the lake you only have to walk 150 meters.
Doussard marina and a slipway are 5 km away. distance, visible from the balcony.
Annecy, the Venice of France, is a 20-minute drive past beautiful lakeside villages.
You can reach Geneva or Aix les Bains within one hour.
With the available maps and hiking guides, you can take simple and challenging mountain walks in the Bauges, the Beaufortain and the Aravis or in the Mt. Blanc area.
The region is a paradise for cyclists.
Furthermore, there are bicycles, hammocks, a table tennis table, parasols, garden chairs and a family kayak at the guests' disposal.
There are 2 golf courses within 10 minutes by car. The Golf de Talloires (18 holes) and the Golf de Giez (18 and 9 holes).
For winter sports there are the ski slopes of the Aravis and the Beaufortain and, when there is plenty of snow, the ski slopes of Montmin (20 minutes) for the little ones. The lovely family winter sports resorts of Le Grand Bornand/Le Chinaillon and La Clusaz are a 45-minute drive away. The extensive ski slopes of Megève and Les Saisies are an hour's drive away. Snow hikes with rockets are close by and unlimited.
Many villages in the area have their colorful weekly markets during the season, often also "vide grenier" and brocante.
Don't forget to enjoy French cuisine, refined and/or regional dishes, in the many restaurants along the lake or in the mountains.
