Châtel
Châtel is a pleasant village and has a compact center.
The square with the large church is the focal point.
There is also the Tourist Office, several ski schools, many cozy shops and eateries.
There is a beautiful swimming pool with fitness in the village that you can use all year round, for a fee.
At the Lac de Vonnis there is an elevator that gives access to the Super Chatel and the Linga.
Opposite the apartment is a ski lift. The lift connects to Torgon, Chapelle d'Abondance, Morgins and Châtel.
The bus stop is also in front of the apartment.
In the winter season, vans (navettes) drive back and forth free of charge every day. The stop is at the apartment and takes you to the village square. From there, you will receive free transport to the other slopes.
Opening hours:
The shops are open from 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. They are also open on Sundays.
There is an annex of the bakery next to the building where bread, pastries and small necessities are for sale.
A large supermarket (Intermache) can be found just outside the village on the road from Châtel to Abondance.
Next to the building there is a launderette and an Intersport shop with ski rental. (When mentioning our name with discount)
The apartment is comfortable and cosily furnished. It has a south-facing balcony, with a beautiful view over the valley. There is a possibility to rent Wi-Fi.
It can accommodate 2 to 5 people and offers the following:
