Terrace behind the house, morning and evening sun and a lovely shaded spot during the day.
The boat opposite the house, once the stream was probably a river...
lots of greenery around the house, waking up in the morning with the twittering of the birds after a really dark night with an overwhelming starry sky. (The Haute Marne is one of the places with the least light pollution in France, ideal for stargazers.

The wild flower garden
The beach at Lac de Vingeanne, with shady sun loungers in the grass. You can easily walk into the water from the sandy beach! Pedal boats, surfboards etc for hire. You can also fish with a fishing license. (to be arranged via the internet)
The surroundings during a morning walk. The 11th and newest national park 'parc national de fôrets' with 2000 km of hiking trails is 20 km away.

Bedroom 2, the 'grey' room, men's room, wallpaper room,... everyone gives this room its own name. With the old wallpaper and antique sinks, this room exudes the atmosphere of yesteryear. (the Auping comfort of today)
Bedroom 3, the 'baroque room' decorated with 'golden' trinkets from the flea markets.
The authentic cupboard above the wood-burning stove still has the original wallpaper, a nice place for the 'chic' glasses.
