You will stay in the spacious, luxury gite ‘Le Pinatou’ of 54 m2, for 2-4 people, in an authentic hamlet, with its own entrance, garden and driveway. We have converted part of our old, sturdy farmhouse into a luxurious, very spacious, authentic-looking gîte for 2 to 4 people. Extensive thought has been given to every detail to let you enjoy the old, characteristic style of southern Auvergne: natural stone walls, white plastered intermediate walls, wooden uprights, round, wooden beams and beautiful, handmade furniture and details. All this has resulted in a nostalgic-looking cottage, but equipped with all modern comforts and luxuries.

The interior: spacious living room with sitting area and good sofa bed (plus extra topper for 3rd and 4th person), dining area, bedroom with double bed with new mattress, luxurious bathroom with shower, washbasin and toilet, kitchenette with 4-burner cooker, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, kettle, kitchen utensils, etc. Private spacious garden with garden furniture and barbecue, overlooking woods and an old volcano.

We, Tom and Marielle, make sure the gite is ready for you on time. We take care of cleaning and any repairs ourselves. We welcome you with an arrival drink and then tell you which activities from the info folder you are likely to enjoy. After all, there is so much to do that we are happy to give you personal advice. During your stay, you can also come to us with questions. Would you like us to reserve a restaurant or canoes for you? We will be happy to do it for you!

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

Cleaning fee 40 euros.
No additional costs for bed linen and towels. Beds are made upon arrival.
One bag of wood pellets included in the price.
Child's cot and chair available for free.

Cancellation policy:
• Cancellation up to 100 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
• Cancellation from 100 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
• Cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
• Cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
• Cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
• If the renter informs on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not be using the property (or will no longer be using it), he will still be liable for the full rental price.

Le Pinatou is located in Haute-Loire, on the border of the Ardèche and south-west of Lyon, on the edge of the Livradois-Forez National Park. Ideally suited for people who love peace, space, nature, history, culture and outdoor sports.

Southern Auvergne is characterised by a very diverse landscape: numerous volcanoes, hills, mountains, rugged gorges (river valleys) and beautiful views.

In the surrounding area you will find numerous typical French villages and towns, such as the ancient city of Le Puy-en-Velay (UNESCO World Heritage Site), the cathedral and monastery complex of La Chaise-Dieu, many picturesque small villages (including 5 ‘Plus beaux villages de France’ and 4 Villages de caractère), beautiful, centuries-old forts and castles, charming churches and chapels with imposing bell towers, as well as the old cultural rural heritage, such as old bread ovens, washing places, fountains and chibottes (stone shelters for shepherds and farmers).

Luckily, you don't have to drive too far for your shopping or to go out to eat. You can pick up your baguette in the morning on foot from the hotel in the village. A 10-minute drive away you will find several supermarkets and a large Saturday market. There are 2 restaurants in Bellevue itself, but 10 minutes' drive away you'll find real culinary staples. In Le Puy there are restaurants with Michelin-star status.
