Studio Outhera is a cozy, comfortable studio and is part of Maison Outhera, our home in the mountains. The studio is ideal if you are traveling alone, going on holiday with two or coming to enjoy it with two children. With four adults it gets a bit cramped; then we would like to refer you to Maison Outhera, where you will find more space.
Studio Outhera is located in Orcières, in the Haute Champsaur, on the edge of the Ecrins National Park. This is one of the most beautiful valleys in Les Hautes Alpes: pure, quiet, sunny and surrounded by mountains. Here you will find the perfect place to completely unwind after an active day outside.
The studio is fully equipped for a carefree stay. You have a kitchenette, a cozy sitting area with sofa bed, a double bed for two people and a spacious bathroom with shower and toilet. Outside, a private terrace of about 10 m² awaits, where you can drink coffee in the morning with a view of the mountains or enjoy the last sun in the evening. And that view? We think you never get bored of that.
We live in a dead-end valley, as the penultimate house of the hamlet. Two kilometers further the road stops and the silence begins. From there you can walk straight into the surrounding mountains. Studio Outhera is therefore not a place for those looking for crowds, but for those who love nature, space, simplicity and adventure.
In the summer you can go hiking, cycling, mountain biking, do via ferrata, try canyoning, swim at the Base de Loisirs or just relax on the terrace. The region is a large outdoor playground for young and old, with routes and activities for every level. Would you like tips, a nice walk, a local guide or help planning your holiday? Studio Outhera is also a great base in winter. The Orcières Merlette ski area is about 10 minutes away by car. You will find 100 km of slopes, south-facing slopes and descents from green to black. In addition to alpine skiing, you can also go snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, ski touring or just enjoy the winter sun and the silence of the mountains.
Studio Outhera is your little home in the mountains: warm, comfortable and personal. A place for active travelers, nature lovers, couples, small families and anyone who wants to slow down for a while.
