La Muraille

A nice and quietly located holiday home in the Gard (Cotes du Rhône region) at 2km from the village of Goudargues with all facilities (doctor, pharmacy, hairdresser, bakers, intermarché, Super U, butcher, weekly market and nice restaurants, ....). The base for both those who are looking for peace and quiet (1500m2 of private enclosed land between the vineyards) and the sports enthusiast (cycling, canoeing, horseback riding, running, walking,....) and the culture fanatic with cities such as Avignon, Montelimar, Nimes less than 45 minutes drive away and all this between the vineyards with many very good wineries in the immediate vicinity. 

Our house (renovated 2019 and 2022) has three spacious bedrooms, a bathroom with walk-in shower and a bathroom with bath and WC, separate toilet, living room (42m2), open fully equipped kitchen and garage.  The house has a covered terrace (22m2) and a heated swimming pool of 4x8 meters.  A terrace  (100m2) has also been built around the pool renovated in 2021-2022.

The kitchen includes a fridge with freezer, induction hob, electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, senseo and kettle.
In the garage there is an extra freezer, extra fridge and a washing machine.
You can see the house is equipped with every comfort.
The land is 1500 m2.

In the garden behind you can enjoy the view and play petanque from under a pergola.
The back garden is shady because of the plane trees.
Around the 4 x 8 meter swimming pool (maximum depth 1m50) there are plenty of sunbeds to enjoy the sun.
At 2 km from La Muraille is the village of Goudargues.  
This attractive town in the Gard department on the D980 is located between the towns of Pont-Saint-Esprit and Barjac with the famous Roque-Sur-Cèze just around the corner.
A canalized spring winds through the village under centuries-old plane trees.  On both sides there are many terraces and a number of shops.
There is a good supermarket for the necessary groceries.  On Wednesdays there is the weekly market.
During  the summer months there is a weekly night market on Fridays including an art market.
There are beautiful trips in the area, both by car and by bike. The Sautadet Cascade near the beautiful town of Roque-Sur-Cèze, Grottes de Salamander or the Aven d'Orngac are worth a visit.
