Villa Bièvres

Villa Bièvres is a striking house on the edge of the village. With a cozy terrace, small country and old atmospheric orchard. Suitable for 2 to 6 people.

The forester lived here at the beginning of the last century, but then the front door was still in a different spot and the characteristic platform was not there yet. Only a few times a day someone passes by on the little road that runs along the side of the house, a few hundred meters away it passes dead, very appropriate at the cemetery.
Whoever climbs the steps of the platform can enter the stately home through the large red front door. Through the hallway you come to the left in the cozy large kitchen. the large oak table seats six people. The kitchen is equipped with all comforts: a modern 5 burner stove with hood, a refrigerator, electric oven, microwave and of course all the pots, pans and bowls you need to prepare a delicious meal.
Opposite the kitchen is the living room, the modern sofa and chairs are a pleasant contrast with the antique cabinets and lamps. The living room is also equipped with a cozy wood stove. There is a television with a so-called Chromecast, so you can also receive Dutch channels. Via the available bluetooth speaker, you can play your own music from your tablet, laptop or phone anywhere in the house. Of course there is Wi-Fi throughout the house. The thick walls ensure that the house in the summer is not too hot and the central heating is also pleasant in the autumn.
There is a modern toilet in the corridor. Through the beautiful old staircase you reach the first floor, where there are two large bedrooms. One with a large Auping double bed and the other with two single beds, both with very good mattresses. On this floor there is also a simple but practical bathroom with a shower cabin and a sink.
On the second floor is an atmospheric attic room with two single beds. The second attic room, where a small double bed is used, is rarely used.

In the basement of the house are the washer and dryer, which you can use if you wish.

Near the house is a large piece of land with a terrace and an orchard with old apple, cherry, plum and pear trees. There is also a large walnut tree that is probably older than the house itself. There is a garage where you can store your bike if desired.
