About 4 hours drive from Amsterdam, The Hague and Utrecht lies in the small farming village Bievres our newly renovated house. It is the highest house in the village, overlooking a part of the village and the wooded hills.
We suspect that it was originally a farmhouse. On the big stone over the entrance is the year 1735. The French house of thick walls and has the advantage that the house cool in summer and comfortably in the winter. The house is fully insulated. Furthermore, there is central heating installed and everywhere there is a great stove to the living room and kitchen to heat.
When the cultivation is chosen natural materials for healthy indoor and retaining many original features in the house. All rooms in the house have original features and spacious.
The house has a large garden with an old walnut, cherry, a beautiful magnolias and a large red beech. The latter is far from near a landmark. If you're in the season: pick, pick and taste the fruits of these trees.
The garden and terrace get the sun all day. Through the trees you can choose sun or shade.
