On the ground floor of the main house is the large living room where you can light the fireplace in winter and where it remains nice and cool in summer. Adjacent is the dining area and further away the well-equipped open kitchen. Furthermore, there are 4 spacious bedrooms upstairs with double beds and 2 bathrooms, one en-suite and the other serving the 3 other bedrooms. 2 Toilets, one downstairs and one upstairs. Outside
A fully enclosed garden with plenty of space for everyone to sunbathe, swim in the enclosed private pool, dine or simply relax in the shade or the sun. Outside you will find a large terrace with outdoor kitchen next to the swimming pool. Get fresh produce at one of the area markets and light the large gas barbecue. This is a great place for the whole family to enjoy a unique and peaceful retreat in France.
Environment
Within a 5-minute drive you will find a good selection of restaurants along the River Vézère, 18th century gardens in Eyrignac and a beach on the large lake in Larche. A little further away is the old town of Sarlat, as well as Montignac and the famous Lascaux caves. The large city of Brive is ideal for shopping and has a golf course. In the small villages you can enjoy antique fairs, or buy locally grown produce from nearby farms. This is the ideal accommodation for visiting the Dordogne or just relaxing in the sun.
