La Lauzière

La Lauzière is a characteristic large holiday home for 10 to 12 people with a beautiful private swimming pool and beautiful views over the hills. La Lauzière is located in the heart of the Périgord Noir between Terrasson and Montignac(Lascaux), 20 kilometers from Sarlat. Lauziere is a simple holiday home with lots of charm. The owner loves brocante collections and this beautiful region.

Inside
On the ground floor is the living/dining room with beams, wooden floor, utility room and farmhouse kitchen with tiled floor and French doors to the garden. The sitting room is also on the ground floor and has wooden floors and French doors leading out to the terrace. The kitchen has amenities such as a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. There is internet available and satellite TV, CD and stereo system.

Bedrooms/bathrooms:
On the ground floor is the first bedroom with a twin bed (2 x 0.90) and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. The second bathroom has a shower cubicle, bathtub and double sinks. There is a separate toilet. On the first floor is the open plan study with a single sofa/bed. A second bedroom with a twin bed (2 x 0.90), the third bedroom has three single beds, on the second floor is a bedroom with a 1.40 double bed and private bathroom (separate toilet) and a bedroom with 2 single beds. Cot available.

Outside
The private garden has lawns, a terrace and a beautiful private swimming pool (9 x 3) and table tennis. There is also garden furniture, a barbecue and plenty of parking space. 

Environment
Lauzière is located 2 kilometers from the center of Saint Amand de Coly. Saint Amand de Coly is one of the  151 most beautiful villages in France. Restaurant - bar 2 kilometers away. Supermarkets for daily shopping at 5 and 8 kilometers drive. The medieval town of Terrasson, 8 kilometres away, is situated in a fairytale setting on the river Vézère. In Terrasson you will find all the shops you need. There are 5 large supermarkets. There are also several restaurants; in the old and new part. 5 kilometres away is Montignac, known for the Caves of Lascaux; the first caves where drawings of prehistoric man were found. Montignac is a pleasant town with many restaurants along the river and 2 supermarkets. A 20-kilometre drive away you will find the capital of the Dordogne: Sarlat, a medieval town known for its atmosphere, food and buildings! ActivitiesYou can go hiking, cycling, horseback riding, canoeing on the Vézère. There are 6 golf courses within a radius of 50 kilometers.
