Beautiful, authentically converted farmhouse in the quiet part of the Dordogne. In the immediate vicinity you will find a large regional market (Riberac, 7 km) and nice villages such as Aubeterre and Brantome. But the river Dronne is also nearby. This is called the cleanest river in France. In many places you can enjoy swimming or canoeing (Riberac, 7 km).
The house has a very large, fenced garden with lots of privacy and unobstructed views of the rolling countryside. There is a deep swimming pool (unheated) of 8x4m.
Inside you will find a large, fully equipped kitchen with 6-burner gas stove, dishwasher, oven, Nespresso, kettle. Next to the kitchen a utility room with washing machine.
From the kitchen you enter a small living-study room with a large living room with wood stove and loft next to it. At the back on the ground floor you will find a large bedroom with 4 single beds and a modern bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet.
On one side of the loft on the first floor is a bedroom with a double bed and large bathroom with bath (shower in the bath), toilet and sink. On the other side of the loft are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with 4 single beds. Both bedrooms share a nice big bathroom with bath/shower, toilet and sinks.
At the front (street side) of the house is a huge barn with space for e.g. bicycles. From the road you enter the site via a driveway of about 35 meters after which there is more than enough parking space for several cars.
Behind the pool, the garden extends in full width and you have an unobstructed view over the surrounding fields. The garden is fully fenced and is mowed weekly (in season) by a gardener.
