We have had a luxury safari tent in an enclosed garden for 2 years where you can relax in a beautiful environment. Here you can enjoy the silence and luxury that the tent has to offer.

The shower and toilet accommodation are private for the safari tent, as well as the whole garden around it. The bed is made on arrival and the towels are ready in the bathroom.

The area is ideal for beautiful walks or bike rides. There are several swimming and water sports activities, such as Lac de Lavaud and St. Estephe, about a 15-minute drive away. You can also choose the nice villages or the capital of the Charente, Angoulême. Restaurants come in different classes, from delicious pizza to a luxurious meal in a star restaurant. The market in Piegut Pluviers, on Wednesday morning, is cozy with local products and many colors and scents.
The "marche de produkteurs" are also highly recommended, sit down with your own tablecloth and cutlery, and be surprised by the local people who provide your dinner. The castle in La Rochefoucauld is also worth a visit, but it is mainly the peace and quiet that makes a stay in the safari tent in Montizon worthwhile.

Since 2015 we have been living in the lovely Montizon, France. We have had a busy and pleasant life in Brabant, but we have decided to emigrate here to our holiday home in France. Here everything goes with the tranquility of the countryside, not ready today, tomorrow another day. A bit Brabantian. We would like our guests to taste that, it is so delicious here.

Explanation of the prices & cancellation policy

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:

In case of cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of charge
In case of cancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental price
In case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental price
If the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the leased property, the tenant will continue to owe the full rent.
