This lovely centrally located house is located at the holiday park Village le Chat in the town of Ecuras. The park is located around a small lake in the southwest of France, on the border of the Dordogne and the Charente. From Utrecht it is less than 950 kilometers away.

There is regularly a food truck at the park. As well as sandwich service & ice cream snacks at the pool in high season. For a restaurant you can go to Golf de la Preze and of course also in the vicinity.
The park has many facilities such as 2 all-weather tennis courts, table tennis tables, jeu de boule courts, playgrounds, swimming pool (deep) and paddling pool (is shallower), football field, swimming lake with playground equipment and rafts. There is also a beach at the lake and the lake is also very suitable as a fishing lake. The park is located right next to the beautiful De la Preze golf course

The house is conveniently located on the park. Close to the swimming pool and center. Spacious secluded garden on the sunny side.
Spacious living room with sofa and armchairs, dining area and cupboards. Free Wifi available. Television screen available (screen only). Also many board games and books available.
Open kitchen fully equipped with crockery, glassware, cutlery and pans, refrigerator, oven, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, air fryer, toaster, dishwasher and induction hob. Extra fridge and washing machine in storage room.

The house has two bedrooms that can accommodate four people. Single duvets and pillows are provided. On arrival, if desired, the beds will be made. You will be welcomed by our English-speaking manager. The house also has a bathroom with bath, toilet and shower and sink. Extra toilet in the hallway.
Spacious partly covered south-facing terrace, with complete garden furniture, comfortable chairs, hammock, charcoal BBQ. Parking space on site next to the house
Dogs are NOT allowed.

Are you coming with an electric car? You can charge your car at the Intermarché in Montbron. Our house does NOT have a suitable power supply for charging an electric car. In the unlikely event that this does happen, we are forced to charge costs.

Hello

We are Nils and Ellen and have had a holiday home in the beautiful Charente region (near Dordogne) in France since 2024. In spring and summer you can enjoy the heated swimming pool and the lake with sandy beach. There are also many nice trips and activities such as markets, castles, picturesque villages, beautiful cities such as Angoulême, kayaking, hiking, cycling and horseback riding.

The landlord will charge the following amounts, depending on the date of written cancellation by the tenant:
Cancellation up to 90 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: free of chargeCancellation from 90 days (inclusive) to 42 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 30% of the rental priceCancellation from 42 days (inclusive) to 28 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 50% of the rental priceCancellation from 28 days (inclusive) to 14 days (exclusive) before the start of the rental period: 75% of the rental priceIn case of cancellation from 14 days (inclusive) before the start of the rental period: 100% of the rental priceIf the tenant only announces on the day of the start of the rental period or during the rental period that he will not make any use of the rented property (anymore), the tenant remains liable for the full rent.
