This former 'ecurie', +/- 700km from Utrecht and located on the edge of the Burgundian village of Héry (58800), was completely renovated in '21/'22. The beautiful detached gîte is a combination of authentic French and modern stylish, has a luxurious finish and is equipped with all modern comforts (including fiber optic internet, dishwasher, washing machine). The gîte has a bedroom with a double bed (160x200), large kitchen-diner and a cozy living room with wood stove and access to the terrace. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. All rooms are located on the ground floor. Spacious south-facing garden and terrace with a spectacular and unobstructed view over the meadows and the Morvan!
This gite is located 10 km from the village of Corbigny where all necessary amenities are available. Directly from the house you can take various walks along rolling meadows or through the forest. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you can drive to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the Yonne River in 5 minutes. Within 15 minutes you can reach the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and the lakes and forests of the Morvan nature park (which you can see from your terrace) are also within close distance of this gîte. In addition to all the beautiful nature, it is certainly worthwhile to visit special towns in the region such as Vezelay and Auxerre.
