This former 'ecurie', +/- 700km from Utrecht and located on the edge of the Burgundian village of Héry (58800), was completely renovated in '21/'22. The beautiful detached gîte is a combination of authentic French and modern style, has a luxurious finish and is equipped with all modern comforts (including fiber optic internet, dishwasher, washing machine). The gîte has a bedroom with a double bed (160x200), large kitchen and a cozy living room with wood stove and access to the terrace. Bathroom with walk-in shower and separate toilet. All rooms are located on the ground floor. In the living room there is a comfortable sofa bed (140x200) so that this house can accommodate up to 4 people. This room can be closed off from the kitchen with blackout curtains, creating a separate bedroom. Spacious garden and terrace on the South with a spectacular and unobstructed view over the meadows and the Morvan!
This gîte is located at a distance of 10km from the village of Corbigny where all necessary amenities are available. Directly from the cottage you can take various walks along rolling meadows or through the forest. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you can drive to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne in 5 minutes. Within 15 minutes you are at the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and also the lakes and forests of the Morvan Natural Park (which you have seen from your terrace) are within easy reach of this gîte. In addition to all the beautiful nature, it is also worthwhile to visit special cities in the region such as Vezelay and Auxerre.
