This detached 2-person gîte (55m2) is located about 700km from Utrecht in the small Burgundian village of Héry (58800). The comfortable gîte will be completely renovated in 2024 and equipped with modern conveniences including fast internet, dishwasher and washing machine.
The interior is rural modern and all rooms are located on the ground floor. The bedroom has a comfortable double bed (160x200) and the bathroom has a walk-in shower, toilet and sink. The open kitchen extends into the cozy living room with access to the terrace. From here you have a beautiful unobstructed view over the spacious garden and the directly adjacent meadows.
At the back of the garden are several old fruit trees which make this part of the garden a cozy and shady place. Again with a beautiful view over the meadows and the Morvan.
This gîte is located at a distance of 10km from the village of Corbigny where all necessary amenities are available. Directly from the cottage you can take various walks along rolling meadows or through the forest. There is also a lot of beautiful nature in the area: you can drive to the famous Canal du Nivernais and the river Yonne in 5 minutes.
Within 15 minutes you are at the lakes 'étangs de Baye et de Vaux' and Parc Naturel Régional du Morvan is also a short distance from the gîte. In addition to all the beautiful nature, it is also worthwhile to visit special cities such as Vezelay and Auxerre in the region.
