There are many herbs around the house, you can use them freely; mint to make tea, pick lavender and put the seeds in a bag under your pillow, put flowers from the garden in the vase yourself, pick fruits when they are ripe and enjoy the honey from our own bees.
The 24m² swimming pool is surrounded by a terrace with 4 sun loungers, even from the pool you can see for miles and have a view of the Montagne Noir.
From the living room you enter the covered shaded terrace of 56 m² with various seating areas and a two-person sauna.
Here again that beautiful view of the sunlit Minervois valley.
On this terrace there is a mobile outdoor kitchen with a fryer, griddle and a BBQ.
There are two bedrooms; the large bedroom with a double box-spring bed 200 x 160 cm.
The other bedroom has two single box-spring beds 200 x 90 cm.
Bathroom with sink and walk-in shower, washing and drying machine.
There is a spacious sitting and dining room with wood stove and an open kitchen with all necessary equipment.
There is a second toilet in the hallway.
Planquefer is wheelchair accessible, has no thresholds and is attractively decorated with work by artists.
If you want to be creative, there is a separate studio where you can paint, draw or write, there are notebooks, an easel and drawing paper, pencils and chalk.
There is also the Nvlr library with many books; a nice place to read.
Our house offers a place to visitors who want to respectfully experience the beauty of nature and culture of the Languedoc.
Planquefer has 250 sunny days a year and is surrounded by the Garrigue, with birds, butterflies, reptiles, insects and flowers.
You are in the Cathar region, with historic castle ruins, old Romanesque churches and monasteries, tranquil medieval villages with squares and terraces under the plane trees.
Nice markets on Tuesdays in Olonzac and Wednesdays in Lezignan.
Cycling along the Canal du Midi, fishing in the Aude, swimming at Narbonne Plage in the Mediterranean.
Every town has a restaurant where you can eat cheaply and deliciously for lunch.
Visit the locks of Fonseranes, the Cathedral in Béziers and the old Carthaginian city of C.arcassonne.
Also visit Narbonne with its beautiful town hall and medieval cathedral.
In Planquefer there is a lot of documentation about the region and for the walker there is a folder with descriptions and maps of fifty walks in the Languedoc.
Planquefer is an Eco home with solar panels and Thermodynamic boiler, which ensure 55% car consumption.
There is a spring that supplies water to the swimming pool and irrigates the garden.
