L'Ecurie (horse stable) is part of Domaine Sibra, a centuries-old castle farm on the border of Ariège and Aude in the foothills of the Pyrenees. The farm and associated buildings have been restored to approx. 20 holiday homes and apartments, with a swimming pool on the domaine. L'Ecurie is on the ground floor, has 3 bedrooms and a separate 'studio'. There is a terrace with a garden with a beautiful view. The house is equipped with every comfort. Residents and visitors of the houses on Sibra are used to taking each other into account with regard to noise and behaviour. Therefore, rules of conduct also apply to the communal swimming pool (eg no swimming after 7.30 pm, no music, etc.).
In the immediate vicinity of Sibra you can enjoy walking and cycling, both in the hills and more on the flat. Several medieval towns are well worth a visit. Especially Mirepoix, 7 km from Sibra, has a lively historic centre, and also has many shops and facilities.
