Welcome to our modern and perfectly maintained villa on the quiet Domaine "Les Rives d'Ardèche" – the starting point for an unforgettable holiday in one of the most beautiful regions of France.
This season we have expanded our villa with extra amenities. With the new pool heater you can enjoy the pool early in the season and thanks to the charging station you can easily charge your electric car.
Classification
The villa is distinguished by two terraces on different levels so that there is a choice between sitting in the sun or cooling off while overlooking the beautiful garden. On the upper terrace you will find the heated swimming pool with electrically operated cover. On the lower level is the generous dining table for eight people, perfect for long cozy summer evenings.
Inside you will find the spacious living-dining room with sliding doors to the covered terrace. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, dishwasher, combi microwave-oven, fridge-freezer and ceramic hob. Smart TV with Dutch channels and stable wifi provide extra comfort both at home and on the terraces.
The practical layout with two bedrooms and one bathroom per floor makes the villa particularly suitable for two families. The spacious driveway offers space for two cars.
Park facilities
The Domaine Les Rives d'Ardèche offers plenty of leisure activities where relaxation, entertainment and nature come together seamlessly. Next to the reception is a large communal swimming pool with separate children's pool, two tennis courts, a basketball court and boules courts. For sports enthusiasts, there are outdoor fitness machines and a table tennis table, while the little ones can enjoy themselves in the colourful playground with playhouse and seesaws.
During the high season, the cosy reception not only functions as a practical information desk, but is also a meeting place where you can enjoy a refreshing drink, a good cup of coffee or a delicious ice cream. The Ardèche is within walking distance of the villa, the river can be reached via a staircase from the park.
The area
The villa is a stone's throw from Vallon Pont d'Arc with its attractive and in summer very lively center with picturesque streets and cozy restaurants. Within walking distance you will find a bakery, a small fruit market, pizzeria and some restaurants, while for daily shopping you can go to supermarkets in the area such as LIDL, Intermarché and SuperU, which can be reached within a few minutes by car.
The Ardèche region is a paradise for nature lovers and adventurers. Visit the famous Pont d'Arc, an impressive natural arch bridge over the Ardèche and discover the breathtaking Gorges de l'Ardèche. Here you can canoe or kayak over crystal clear waters, surrounded by steep rock faces and untouched nature. Those who prefer to keep it dry can follow the gorge via the panoramic route with numerous viewpoints that offer spectacular views.
Culture lovers will also get their money's worth. The 30,000-year-old Chauvet Cave, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, offers a unique look at the oldest known cave paintings in Europe.
If you want to soak up the French atmosphere, don't miss the local markets. Almost every day in one of the surrounding villages there is a colorful market where you can taste local products, artisanal cheeses, fresh wines and Provencal specialties. The scent of lavender, the buzz of the market stalls and the lively atmosphere make this a real experience.
