Welcome to Mas les Serres, an attractive gîte in the south of the Ardèche, where peace, nature and the real French outdoors come together.

Our authentic mas is located in a beautiful, green area near Grospierres, a short distance from famous places such as Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, the Gorges de l'Ardèche and the charming villages and markets for which this region is so popular. Here you will stay in the middle of nature, with plenty of room to slow down, enjoy and make beautiful memories together.

Mas les Serres is a characterful residence with a warm, personal atmosphere. The old stones, the Mediterranean landscape, the scent of lavender and rosemary, the sun on the terrace and the view of the surrounding nature immediately provide that real holiday feeling. Whether you come to relax by the pool, spend long evenings eating outside, discover the Ardèche or just don't have to do anything at all: here you will find the freedom to spend your holiday in your own way.

The gîte is ideal for guests who love peace, comfort and authenticity. You have your own place, with plenty of privacy and space to live outside. Start the day with breakfast on the terrace, take a walk in the area, visit a local market or take a refreshing dip in the pool. In the evening you can enjoy the starry sky and a good glass of wine from the region.

The Ardèche is a fantastic destination for nature lovers, families, couples and anyone who loves the southern French life. In the area you can walk, cycle, canoe, swim in rivers, visit picturesque villages and enjoy local restaurants, flea markets and weekly markets. The famous Pont d'Arc and the impressive Gorges de l'Ardèche are also within easy reach.

What makes the gîte special is the combination of simplicity, charm and comfort. No mass tourism, no anonymous holiday spot, but a personal stay where you hopefully feel at home soon.

The fixed parasol provides extra shade in and around the pool. There is a second parasol that can be moved. This allows extra shade to be created in the garden anytime, anywhere.
The 2 canadians or relax chairs are the ideal place to curl up with a book and a good glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful day or evening. Our favorite place in the house.

In autumn 2024, both bathrooms and the downstairs toilet will be renovated. This is the luxurious bathroom on the ground floor with (rain) shower and heated towel radiator. The toilet on the ground floor is separate.
In both bathrooms there is a walk-in shower with comfortable (rain) shower.
One of the two bedrooms upstairs with air conditioning, luxurious 2-person box spring bed with comfortable mattresses and a top deck.
The second bedroom upstairs with air conditioning and two single beds. There is sufficient (closet) space in this 'children's room'. There is also a chest of drawers, which can also serve as a chest of drawers.
Both bathrooms and toilet will be renovated at the end of 2024. This is the new bathroom on the first floor with (rain/rain) shower, heated towel radiator, sink and toilet.
The indoor balcony with a view of the surroundings has a cozy bar. Here is also a drying rack and there are washing lines to dry laundry.
