Occasionally local trains pass and stop on the platform of the station. You can get in straight from the house!
Good Facilities
The station building also has a large garden (800 m2) with swimming pool and jeu-de-boules court . The spacious terrace can accommodate 8 people.
During the day you can cook on the stone outdoor barbecue . In the evening, the terrace is attractively lit to end the day in style and cosiness.
Ideal for Groups & Families with Children
This holiday accommodation is ideal for families with (small) children : the access to the swimming pool is equipped with a safety gate for the little ones. The garden is completely fenced and therefore also safe for children. This way you and your family will experience a carefree holiday.
In the former waiting room on the ground floor of the station building you will find a spacious living/dining room with a wood-burning stove. The room is cosily furnished with all kinds of train attributes from bygone times and a CD player and WIFI. There is also an authentic pinball machine from Bram Stoker's Dracula; for a 2 euro coin you can play a game (3 balls).
Relaxation and Fun
Inside are games and books .
Outside you will find the swimming pool (6.5 x 3.8 meters). This is built into a wooden sun terrace of 12 x 5 meters. Sunbathe in a sun lounger, splash in the water to refresh yourself or read a book in the shade of a parasol.
Then toast to French life with a glass of wine and a game of pétanque on a real course !
Space and Comfort
The spacious dining kitchen is fully equipped: a 5-burner gas stove with oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, fan, dishwasher and much more.
In the hallway is a separate toilet with shower. The beautiful spiral staircase takes you to the first floor where you will find 3 bedrooms:

- Single bed (190X110).
- bedroom 2
- 1-person bed (200X90)
- bedroom 3
There is a separate toilet in the upstairs hallway. There is a bathroom (with large shower) and enough space for a washing machine, tumble dryer and wooden rack for all your toilet needs. Ironing board, iron and hair dryer are also provided.
Detached Holiday Home
The nearest neighbors live 100 meters away. And, believe it or not, those are Dutch too. Our good neighbors Nelleke and Steven have a restaurant where you can enjoy delicious and affordable French dishes. Highly recommended!
A train passes several times a day and sometimes it stops for a while. The small stop 30 meters away (on the track) is rarely used. The station building is completely for you and very discreet and quiet.
Rural, Green Environment
Our holiday home is in a particularly quiet location. Explore the green, rolling landscape by bike or take a walk through the beautiful bushes and wide fields.
Are you ready for a trip? The adjacent 'Canal du Berry' leads you to the nearby medieval town of Montlucon. The picturesque castle of Montlucon offers a beautiful view over the valley and the cozy restaurants, shops and terraces guarantee a wonderful day out.
Enough to do
The following activities are possible in the vicinity (max. 30 minutes by car): swimming, golf, hiking, mountain bike, horseback riding, tennis, renting boats… too many to mention!
The historic towns of Moulins, Bourges, Vichy, Clermont-Ferrand and Riom are also not far away and are worth a visit.
