Maison des Pommes

Waking up to the birds, having breakfast outside on a nice terrace and enjoying the outdoors.... that's a holiday at les Bergeries: a former farm in the French countryside in the Allier.

The centuries-old Maison des Pommes has a cozy living room with French tomettes floor and old panel doors. The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator, etc. A freezer and washing machine are also available at Les Bergeries.

The bathroom with shower, sink, toilet and closet is on the ground floor.
On the upper floor there are 2 bedrooms with a twin bed, wardrobe space and a double bed. Furthermore, 2 single beds and a sitting area in the spacious upper space.
The house is furnished with lots of cozy brocante items, so that you really feel at home right away.

There is a cot, high chair available free of charge and your pet can also come along for free!
There is also a barbecue freely available and for the children there is plenty of room to play, a playhouse, trampolines, go-kart, climbing frame with slide, etc.

Nearby is a beautiful lake with a sandy beach, water slide and playground. The Forest of Tronçais; an 11,000m nature reserve with oak forests, lakes, walking and cycling paths ensures a sporty holiday in a picturesque and lovely area with many varied views.

There are some beautiful cities, such as Bourges, Monluçon, Moulins and Nevers with many half-timbered houses and museums for a wonderful cultural trip or to enjoy the many boutiques, restaurants and terraces.
Furthermore, les Bergeries is located on a castle route with beautiful castles and well-known beautiful French villages with beautiful gardens, such as Appremont d'Allier ...

Of course there are also cozy flea markets and medieval festivals to visit every weekend ... and also suitable for children ... canoe trips, electric boats, animal park, play park and a climbing park through treetops .... to name just a few possibilities ....
It is a nice cycling and walking area with a sloping and varied landscape.
