Very spacious house part of a fully enclosed domain in the center of Herisson!! 16th century domain consisting of an independent house with separate entrance (medieval tower stairs that take you to the 1st floor) and a very pleasant sun-facing green garden that you can use. The house consists of:

Fully enclosed garden of 500 m2 with tables, chairs, sofas, sun loungers, etc.
The "Allier" region is a large nature reserve (Forêt de Tronçais) in central France. There is an abundance of nature, forests for walking, cycling. And there are the small picturesque villages, old churches and weekly brocantes... An hour's drive away there are cities and sights such as Moulins, Appremont, Bourges... but also closer is Montluçon.
Herisson, is a small, LIVING, medieval village with entertainment (artists and performers) during the summer months. Picturesque restaurant with a nice street terrace, a small supermarket (but a 10-minute drive away you will find a large Carrefour and Netto, gas station, etc...)
In 2021 we visited the most beautiful places in France. A perfect place to enjoy the silence, make an active holiday or take a break while passing through.
We have an abundance of birds here and in the evening thousands of stars and planets that you can see in the dark sky. In Herisson dark is...black.
The apartment has just been completely renovated and has vintage furnishings, pets are not allowed and it is a smoke-free home! Deposit is 100 euros. Electricity, water and wood for the stove, but also tourist tax is included in the rental price.
We rent our house for 2 people from 4 days at the beginning of June to the end of September.
