Experience the Middle Ages as in the sixties - seventies!!
Very spacious house part of a fully enclosed domain in the center of Herisson!!  15th century domain consisting of an independent house with separate entrance (medieval tower staircase that takes you to the 1st floor) and a very cozy sun-oriented green garden that you can use. The house consists of:
Living room with wood stove, sixties - seventies furniture
Kitchen equipped with all comforts
bedroom spacious room with a double bed 180 x 200 cm 
Bathroom with bath/shower,
Separate WC
Fully fenced garden of 500 m2 equipped with tables, chairs, sofa, deckchairs etc...

The region "Allier" is a large nature reserve (Forêt de Tronçais) in central France. There is an abundance of nature, forests to walk in, cycling. And there are the small picturesque villages, old churches, the weekly flea markets... An hour's drive away, there  are cities and places of interest such as Moulins, Appremont, Bourges... but also closer to home there is Montluçon.
Herisson, is a small, LIVING, medieval village with animation (artists and performers) during the summer months. Picturesque restaurant with a nice street terrace, a small supermarket (but a 10-minute drive away you will find a large Carrefour and Netto, gas station etc...)
In 2021 we were among the most beautiful places in France.A perfect place to enjoy the silence, make it an active holiday or take a break while passing through.
We have an abundance of birds here and thousands of stars and planets in the evening  that you can see in the dark sky. In Herisson, it is dark... black.
The apartment has just been completely renovated and vintage decorated, pets are not allowed and it is a non-smoking house! Deposit is 100 euros. Electricity, water and wood for the stove, but also the tourist tax is included in the rental price.
We rent out our house for 2 people from 4 days from the beginning of June to the end of September.
