La perle is the second holiday home on the property where La couronne is also located. La perle is a cottage where the décor goes just a little further than usual. A lot of attention has been paid to special items and extra details. One bedroom has a lovely bath in the room and the other bedroom has a lovely shower in the room. So you can choose what you want. The bedrooms are on the first floor, the toilet is on the ground floor.
In the adjacent enclosed meadow is the natural swimming pond, which is shared with La Couronne, the other holiday home (6pers) in the yard.
The cottage is completely detached and has a beautiful garden adjacent to a pond, making the house less suitable for small children. Unfortunately, due to the open nature of the garden, dogs are not allowed. Our donkeys that are on the meadow love attention and you often see them standing at the fence. In the evening they play with each other and run in circles. Feeding (carrots or dry bread) and cuddling is always allowed! As with La Couronne, there is a large trampoline in the garden and many games are available. There is always a starting stock for the Nespresso machine and that also applies to tea and herbs. Cooking enthusiasts have a 5 burner smeg at their disposal with an assortment of cookbooks in the cupboard for inspiration.
On request we make homemade Belgian stew with fries on arrival or another evening, because we are originally from Belgium I can say that this is extremely tasty. If you are a vegetarian, we will be happy to make a vegetarian pasta/lasagna or pizza.
The house is just on the last part of the dead end street because after that there is only meadow. Those arriving by car may take advantage of the hotel. The cottage is a max 30-minute drive from omaha beach and Bayeux, perfect location to see all the sights this region is so famous for.
