Our 4 person holiday chalet (B3) has a magnificent unobstructed view over two lakes of the campsite and the surrounding landscape. It is located on a dead-end road on the edge of the campsite.
The chalet has the following amenities:
Living room with an open plan kitchen, sitting and dining area with leather sofa and two armchairs, smart TV and stereo set.
- bedroom with double bed and bedroom with bunk beds
- bathroom with shower cubicle, toilet and sink. Heating via boiler.
- The kitchen has a 4 burner stove, microwave and fridge with freezer compartment.
- New wooden terrace with garden furniture, various chairs, barbecue, etc.
- barn behind the house.
Wifi via a login code that you can buy at the reception, around the reception Wifi is free.
Our chalet is located on the grounds of the castle campsite Le Verdoyer which is managed by Dutch owners. You can use all the facilities of this campsite such as;
- large outdoor swimming pool with paddling pool and water slide
- an indoor swimming pool
- a tennis court, table tennis, volleyball, etc.
- Bicycle rental
You can also order sandwiches at the castle and there is a camping shop in high season. There is also a fine restaurant and a snack bar.
In the immediate vicinity, in addition to the walking and cycling opportunities, various sports activities can be practiced such as golf (3km), horseback riding, karting, paintballing, etc.
There are excellent rental opportunities.
In the high season in the months of July and August, the rent is on average between 700 and 900 euros per week. However, this is of course free to be determined by the owner of the chalet.
- The average park costs are 2800 euros per year, which includes:
- Once a year global garden maintenance, mowing, pruning and leaf blowing
- Regular checks during the winter
- Key handover between tenants during the rental season and any minor repairs.
- Coordination of major repairs
The campsite is open to tourists from 1 May to 30 September, for the owner of our chalet it is from 1 April to 31 October.
The reason why we put our house up for sale is that, after 20 years of enjoying this place, we want to give our holidays a different interpretation.
